The Harvia Cilindro Sauna Heater with Xenio Smart Control is Harvia's iconic pillar-style tower sauna heater paired with the external Harvia Xenio CX digital power unit for full WiFi/app control. Available in 6 kW, 8 kW, 9 kW, or 10.5 kW at 240V 1-Phase (8 and 10.5 kW also offered in 208V 3-Phase for commercial-light installations). Optional Fenix touchscreen upgrade adds the next-generation Harvia control UI.

Each Cilindro size is rated for a specific sauna cabin interior volume. Calculate your cabin volume as interior length × width × height. If the cabin includes a glass door or window, add roughly 25% to compensate for radiant heat loss.

Xenio CX + Fenix Upgrade, What's the Difference?
Tier 2 ("Cilindro Heater + Control + Stones") bundles the Harvia Xenio CX Smart Control power unit (auto-matched to kW: CX30 for 6 kW, CX45 for 8 / 9 / 10.5 kW). The Xenio CX ships with WiFi built in and connects to the MyHarvia smartphone app for remote start and scheduling.
Tier 3 ("Cilindro Heater + Control + Stones + Fenix Upgrade") adds the Harvia Fenix FX004XW Touchscreen Display on top of the Xenio CX, Harvia's next-generation control UI, for the longest- runway platform investment as Harvia eventually transitions from Xenio to Fenix.
Sauna Stones
Cilindro's tall stone column requires significantly more sauna stones than a typical wall heater. Each "Heater + Control + Stones" package (and the Fenix Upgrade tier) ships with 5 boxes of Harvia AC3000 standard sauna stones, olivine diabase, 5–10 cm size grade, 20 kg (44 lb) per box, the same heat-tested stones Harvia ships with every sauna heater.
Installation & Electrical Requirements
Every Cilindro requires a dedicated 240V 1-Phase (or 208V 3-Phase on 8 / 10.5 kW commercial-light installs) circuit wired by a licensed electrician. Required amperage and wire gauge varies by kW, see the table above. Cilindro is UL Listed.
